Welcome and thank you for being here.

Some of you first joined these conversations in my LinkedIn newsletter. While I’ll continue writing there, I wanted to create this space for longer reflections and deeper conversations about Emotional Self-Leadership, authentic expression and meaningful career growth/starting a new venture.

Now let’s begin.

Have you ever had an idea...and didn’t act on it.

Or waited... until you felt more confident...

more certain...

more ready

For a long time, I thought these were confidence problems.

But now I think something quieter is happening.

Something we rarely notice.

I call it Self-Filtering.

It happens in small moments.

You have an idea.

Then another thought appears.

Maybe I should wait. Maybe now isn't the right time.

So you wait. Not because you don't have anything to say.

Not because you aren't capable.

But because, somewhere along the way, you learned to filter yourself before expressing..

Most of us don't even realise we're doing it.

It becomes automatic.

Little by little, we begin to question ourselves before anyone else has the chance to.

Over time, this affects much more than our creativity.

It affects the way we make decisions.

The opportunities we take.

And the relationship  with ourselves.

That is why I believe the next chapter doesn't begin when external factors change.

It begins when our relationship with ourselves changes.

For me, that journey begins with one simple step.

Noticing where we filter ourselves.

Because once we notice the pattern... we have a choice.

We can continue following it. Or we can begin writing a new one.

I'd like to leave you with one question.

What do you already know... but aren't expressing?

Simply notice what comes.

Perhaps that's where your next chapter begins.

Until our next conversation,

Nadejda
